Grave Expectations - Manga Sequential Art
What happens when the Antichrist abandons his destiny—not to sow chaos, but to embrace creativity? That’s the heart of Grave Expectations, the original manga I developed alongside my wife, Courtney. Together, we challenged the idea of fate and explored what it means to forge your own path.
Our story began as a simple conversation about expectations—both in fiction and in life. Inspired by the idea that no one is bound by the roles society (or prophecy!) assigns them, we crafted a journey where the Antichrist chooses to become an illustrator, trading prophetic doom for a full-time drawing gig.
This project is more than just a manga—it’s a testament to the strength of our partnership and the courage it takes to be true to yourself. We hope Grave Expectations inspires others to defy expectations, embrace their true passions, and create something uniquely their own.

One of my most exciting collaborations was with a young creator who dreamed of seeing his original characters—anthropomorphic animals racing cars—come to life on the page. The result was RPM Friends, a fully colored comic that blends dynamic storytelling with energetic, high-speed visuals.
For every commission, my goal is to challenge myself to capture the creator’s unique vision, translating imagination and passion into dynamic layouts and expressive character moments. RPM Friends is a perfect example of this process—from initial sketches to final, published pages. The project was later released by Redhawk Publications, marking a milestone for the young creator. The images below are from Issue 2: "The Mystery of Racer Zero," to be released later in 2025.
